Your brain is 🗑️.

Imagine a bin.

You throw shit inside of it all the time (content).

Sometimes, (when you are really motivated) you decide to sit your ass down to craft your own content.

You take one piece of trash out of the bin.

Another one.

Occasionally, you find a big idea, but most of the time it simply remains what it is… trash.

You feel as if you just „ran out of ideas“, never fully satisfied.

And I know why that is:

The „trash“ you collect is stuff you:

- picked up listening to a podcast

- remember from that video you watched or simply

- an idea that struck you while someone drunk guy shouted at the train station

But do you know where the real gems are hidden?

On the bottom of that bin. Deep inside your brain.

Here is how to generate banger ideas:

You have to dig reaaally fucking deep to create banger ideas.

Most creators do this by writing for 2-5 hours in ONE session.

Others do it in less time but with a more strategic approach: they have created a series of questions they can answer one by one to create Ideas with depth.

But what they all have in common is the following:

they create ideas by writing about one idea that already exists.

By fleshing out an idea you already had (or somebody else had that stuck with you) you're ultimately generating new ideas.

Don't try to force ideas - it‘s literally braindead. This is not the idea of writing.

Start small, find a topic to write about for 1h, and go from there. You'll be amazed at how many ideas your brain generates once it is in the flow state.

The deeper you go, the more you connect your idea to other ideas or topics, and the further you explain your idea from multiple perspectives… the more ideas will flood you.

tl;dr:

You won‘t create bangers if you only scratch the top of your head.

So the next time you complain about having no ideas…

I‘m sorry, but you‘re just too lazy to sit down and think.
